Who we are
Specter Supply Co. ("we," "us," "our") sells privacy hardware, de-googled phone services, private AI node deployments, and AI agent configuration services. Our website is specter-supply.com. For questions about this policy, email hello@specter-supply.com.
What we collect
We collect only what's necessary to fulfill your order and provide support:
- ·Name and email address (when you contact us, place an order, or subscribe to our newsletter)
- ·Phone number (only if you provide it in the contact form)
- ·Shipping address (when you place an order)
- ·Order details and product preferences (what you purchased, OS selection, service options, OpenClaw configuration preferences)
- ·Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number)
What we don't collect
- ·We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising
- ·We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics that track individual users
- ·We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes
- ·We do not build profiles on you or track your behavior across the web
How we use your data
- ·To fulfill orders — shipping your products, configuring your device, performing remote setup of AI agent software, and coordinating send-in services
- ·To provide support — responding to your questions via email or Signal during your support period
- ·To send updates — if you subscribe to our newsletter, we send privacy tips and product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time
- ·To improve our products — understanding what our customers need so we can serve them better
Third-party services
We use a small number of services to operate. Each was chosen for its privacy practices:
- ·Stripe — payment processing. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy. We never see your full card number.
- ·Supabase — database hosting for orders and contact submissions. Data is stored securely with row-level security and encryption at rest.
- ·Vercel — website hosting. Vercel may collect basic server logs (IP address, request time) as part of standard web hosting. We recommend browsing with a VPN or privacy-focused browser to minimize what any hosting provider can associate with your visit.
- ·Resend — email delivery. Only receives your email address if you subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Remote configuration services
For OpenClaw Configuration and other remote setup services, we may temporarily access your machine via a secure remote session to install and configure software. During these sessions:
- ·We only access what's necessary to complete the agreed configuration
- ·We do not copy, retain, or transmit any personal files, documents, or data from your machine
- ·Any credentials we create during setup (API tokens, authentication keys) are generated on your machine and stay on your machine
- ·Remote access is terminated immediately after the work is complete
Data retention
We keep order records for as long as needed for tax, legal, and support purposes. Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ·Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- ·Request correction of inaccurate data
- ·Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- ·Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
- ·Opt out of any future data collection
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@specter-supply.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Protecting yourself when visiting our site
We practice what we sell. We minimize data collection on our end — but we still rely on third-party infrastructure (hosting, payments, email delivery) that may log basic request data like IP addresses.
We encourage you to use the same privacy tools we recommend in our products and content:
- ·Browse with a VPN (such as ProtonVPN) so hosting providers like Vercel cannot associate your real IP address with your visit
- ·Use a privacy-focused browser like Brave or Firefox to block third-party trackers
- ·Use an email alias when subscribing to our newsletter if you prefer not to share your primary address
Our goal is a world where none of this is necessary. Until then, these tools ensure that even the services we depend on can't build a profile on you.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database hosting with encryption at rest, and access controls that limit who can see your information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
Children's privacy
Our products and services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your consent.
